LOXTON BOAT RAMP RESERVE

Public BBQ

A well-appointed reserve on the Murray at Loxton with two boat ramps at different depths, a pontoon, and grassy areas to beach a craft on. There is a barbecue area, toilets and outdoor gym equipment, and a walk trail leads off to the Tree of Knowledge. The Murray River Queen is moored here, which makes a coffee or a barbecue on the bank a pleasant way to spend an hour. Camping is not permitted. The reserve is still recovering from the 2023 floods: new grass is going in, but for now there is a lot of gravel and mud that will find its way into a car or van.
